Just In Time For The 4th Of July: 10 Hot Dog Do’s & Don’ts
A hot dog hot off the grill is good anytime. But it's GREAT on the fourth of July!
In the park, out on the lake, camping here or there. Or maybe just grilling in the backyard with family and friends. Anytime is a great time to grill up the dogs.
But there is a little something called Hot Dog Etiquette. Now, with the, ah, informal nature of hot dogs, 'etiquette' might be a too fancy and high-class word. Maybe we'll just call it the dos and don'ts of that Independence Day hot dog barbecue.
Now, I'm not saying these are 'carved-in-stone rules. After all, grilling out on a holiday shouldn't have hard-fast rules. Hey, it's a holiday! So maybe these should fall into the category of suggestions.
10 Hot Dog Do's & Don'ts
So while Uncle Willard will show up wearing those shorts that were in style back in 1979 and Aunt Wanda will ask who brought the sauerkraut, you can just sit back, take that first bite of the dog and think about all the blessings you have here in the good ol' U.S. of A.
