I'm a bit of an adventurous eater. I like to try different dishes from all over. Just yesterday I heard about Butter Chicken Pizza, that sounds phenomenal!

I've tried foods from around the world, and all sorts of out of the ordinary dishes. I've eaten bison, venison, rattlesnake, alligator, rabbit, and lamb before. Lamb and bison are the only ones that I've eaten twice.

My Adventures in Unusual Meats (Hold the Tongue, Please)

I do become a picky six year-old when it comes to what I call B.O.B. That means body parts, organs, or babies. Tongue? Nope. Liver? I'm getting queasy just thinking about it. Veal? Ugh, I'm gagging already. And don't get me started on eggs.

To be clear though, in a survival situation I'm down to eat whatever I can get. I realize that I am lucky to be able to be a picky eater.

We dove into Yelp reviews to find some of the favorite Vegetarian-Friendly Restaurants in Sioux Falls.

They say that are over 700 restaurants in Sioux Falls. I believe it. Going out to eat is the official pastime of Sioux Falls. Maybe it's the long cold winters that prompt us to find a warm place to shake off the cabin fever.

Whatever the reason, as someone who grew up in a town with only a bar and a Dairy Queen as your dining options, I love the variety and creativity of Sioux Falls's food scene.

Recently, we were talking to a new Sioux Falls transplant. They wanted a change of pace and were looking for someplace to eat that has a good vegetarian selection. Something more than just a salad.

We didn't have an answer for them, so it was off to Yelp we go...
