It turns out Kwik Trip and Kwik Star have been fighting a giant cyberattack across Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Since October 9 parent company Kwik Trip has been experiencing problems with its Kwik Rewards program and mobile app.

La Crosse, Wisconsin-based Kwik Trip is one of the largest C-store operators in the U.S. with over 800 locations in its network.

Loyal customers across Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin have been frustrated when trying to use the Kwik Trip app to track and utilize the individual rewards.

According to Bleeping Computer Kwik Trip said... "Although a thorough forensic investigation is still ongoing and further information may be uncovered, current findings indicate that we experienced a cybersecurity incident that caused disruption to systems located on our internal network on Monday, October 9, 2023,"

On Tuesday Kwik Trip sent out the following message to it's Kwik Rewards members...”As of October 23rd, the Kwik Rewards program has been restored and is fully functional.

Members can now access rewards in-store and through the Kwik Rewards mobile app and website to view and manage their rewards account.

We understand over the last two weeks you may not have been able to redeem or accumulate rewards and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused.”

Kwik Trip went on to explain that everything is back up and running as before and they are even offering Double Visits.

Through November 5th, members will be receiving double visits for every purchase in-store or at the pump.
