Join the Fun at Zoo Boo!
It's a great Sioux Falls tradition that supports one of Sioux Falls and South Dakota's treasures. The Great Plains Zoo's "Zoo Boo" is coming up Thursday, October 15, through Sunday, October 18, with tons of great activities you should know about.
Your family will be able to explore the entire Great Plains Zoo campus with free-flowing trick-or-treat stations with all kinds of goodies, unique decorations, and plenty of opportunities to get some great photos and build some wonderful memories.

You even have the chance to skip the lines and start your fun early with Early Access tickets. These will allow you into ZooBoo an hour before general admission for only $6 more. Plus, kids ages 2-12 will get a free tote bag to carry their treats.
Sensory Sunday: A Special Experience
This year, ZooBoo Sensory Day is on Sunday, October 18, to allow those with sensory processing issues to experience the event. Sensory Day offers all the ZooBoo fun but at a slower pace with fewer people and noise. The Zoo requests that if you don't need this modified experience, that you not reserve a ticket for Sunday, October 18.
Thursday through Saturday, October 15 through 17, there will be a "Strange Creatures" Scary Stroll presented by Good Times Entertainment, beginning at 5 PM. This experience is for big people and brave little people during the first 3 days of ZooBoo.
The Old-Time Haunted Mansion Photo-op, presented by Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals, is going on from 5 to 9 PM on Thursday and Friday, and from 10 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, October 17.

On Sensory Sunday, they will offer crafts by the Snow Monkeys area, and there will also be a juggler and special programs in the Education Classroom, too.
You can see the complete schedules for each day of ZooBoo on the Great Plains Zoo website.
So, grab the kids, grab those trick-or-treat bags, and get ready for a Halloween adventure that's a little different from the usual door-to-door routine.
