There is no shortage of restaurants to enjoy when you're in South Dakota, especially in Sioux Falls. Three restaurants in Sioux Falls just received a distinguished award for having top-notch wine.

The world’s leading authority on wine Wine Spectator just announced its 2023 Restaurant Award winners. This award from Wine Spectator honors "the best restaurants for wine." Over 3,500 restaurants in the United States earned this award, including three Sioux Falls restaurants.

So which Sioux Falls restaurants are home to the best wine in the country? Congratulations...Morrie's Steakhouse, Maribella Ristorante, and Parker's Bistro!

According to a press release, "Wine Spectator is the world’s leading authority on wine. Anchored by Wine Spectator magazine, a print publication that reaches around 3 million readers worldwide, the brand also encompasses the Web’s most comprehensive wine site (WineSpectator.com), mobile platforms, and a series of signature events. Wine Spectator examines the world of wine from the vineyard to the table, exploring wine’s role in contemporary culture and delivering expert reviews." Morrie's Steakhouse was the first restaurant in Sioux Falls to be recognized by Wine Spectator.

There are three different levels of awards from Wine Spectator: Award of Excellence, Best Award of Excellence, and Grand Award Winner. Maribella Ristorante, and Parker's Bistro both earned the Award of Excellence. Morrie's Steakhouse won the Best Award of Excellence. This is Maribella Ristorante's first award from Wine Spectator.
