Pizza Ranch in Canton made the surprising closure announcement on its Facebook page on Monday. The last day for people to enjoy this Sioux Empire Pizza Ranch location will be on Friday, May 31st.

Staff at the Canton Pizza Ranch says patrons might notice some changes before they close its doors for good. Some hours might shift and there could be less staff working inside the Canton Pizza Ranch.

Pizza Ranch currently has 72 locations in Iowa, 44 eateries in Minnesota, and 20 in the state of South Dakota. After the Canton Pizza Ranch location closes on Friday, May 31st, there will be one less spot in town to grab a slice. Until then, this closure will affect numerous operations for Canton Pizza Ranch fans.

Pizza Ranch explains to Canton pizza lovers that they will "no longer offer daytime delivery Monday-Friday. Weekday delivery will now be 5 PM to 8 PM only."
