January in Sioux Falls only means one thing...Burger Battle! This year's Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle is pretty intense. A record 37 savory burgers from local Sioux Falls restaurants are looking for your stomachs and votes.

When it comes to burgers, there definitely is one for everyone, especially in Sioux Falls! It's hard to decide which of the 37 burgers to try. But someone has to do it! The next burger on this endless journey is from The Treasury at Hotel on Phillips. This delectable burger creation is called The Smoke Show. This meal will leave you satisfied and coming back for more!

According to a previous article from my co-worker Jeff Harkness, the Smoke Show Burger is "a 7 oz. Sakura Farms Wagyu seared patty topped with smoky tomato bacon jam, smoked gouda, shredded lettuce, shaved onions, and dill pickles. Served on a sesame-seed potato bun coated in extra-special sauce." From the burgers to the french fries, the Smoke Show is a show.

The Smoke Show is one of my favorite burgers from this year's battle. After one bite, there is a smokey taste to this burger. The gouda and bacon jam are the perfect pair. It tastes so..."gouda!" And the french fries on the side...these are some of the best fries I've tasted in this competition.

Whatever is in the extra-special sauce on the bun, it's working! Don't miss out on trying the Smoke Show from The Treasury at Hotel on Phillips.
