Is This What MmmBop Sounds Like Now? [VIDEO]

Tasha is out on vacation this week in Chicago to see two Hanson concerts at the House of Blues. This morning a listener sent me a text wondering what Hanson sounded like now that they are all grown men. Obviously 32 year-old lead singer Taylor Hanson can't sing MMMBop in the same key he did in 1997. So I pitched the song down a couple of octaves and you can hear what it sounds like in the video above.

I probably could have looked for a recent video of the band playing the song, though that wouldn't have been as much fun. As much fun as it is to poke fun at Tasha and her crush on this band, I have to admit that adult Hanson is pretty damn good.

We also got a text from someone who said: " I went to a Hanson concert about 4 years ago....it was surprisingly really good! My friend and I went as a joke because I once saw a bumpersticker that said 'I'd rather be at a HANSON concert' and I thought it was hilarious. But joke was on us because they rocked."
