Hulk Hogan, the popular wrestling and media personality, has passed away, according to a report from TMZ. He was 71.

Reports say that he died of a cardiac arrest early Thursday morning. Emergency responders reportedly carried Hogan out of his Clearwater, Florida, home on a stretcher and took him to a hospital.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Born in Georgia in 1953, Terry Gene Bollea found worldwide fame in the 1980s as WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan.
