
Hulk Hogan Has Died – He was 71
Hulk Hogan, the popular wrestling and media personality, has passed away, according to a report from TMZ. He was 71.
Reports say that he died of a cardiac arrest early Thursday morning. Emergency responders reportedly carried Hogan out of his Clearwater, Florida, home on a stretcher and took him to a hospital.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Born in Georgia in 1953, Terry Gene Bollea found worldwide fame in the 1980s as WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Hogan continued his wrestling career on and off through the 2000s. He also tried his hand at movie stardom with parts in Rocky III, Suburban Commando, and Mr. Nanny, among others. He was also a very recognizable media personality, making appearances as himself in movies and TV shows.
Hogan reportedly had neck surgery in May. In June, his wife denied rumors that he was in a coma.
