Two years ago Crystal was on the way back up after her second chemo treatment. She was tired a lot of the time. Her hair was gone. She was not even halfway done with all of her treatments which included a bilateral mastectomy, six rounds of chemo, and 25 radiation treatments over the course of seven months. Thankfully that is all behind her now.

Today my wife is still kicking cancer. Any time she can she is an advocate, supporter, and fundraiser for others going through the fight of their lives.

Each of the last two years we have attended the United in Hope Luncheon supporting the Edith Sanford Breast Center. This year she is the featured survivor speaking at the event.

It takes place on October 11 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center from 11:30 am -  1:00 pm. There will be a silent auction with lots of packages to bid on. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online or at the door.

She's doing great now and is pretty happy to be able to get her hair into a ponytail again.
