Former South Dakota Man Now a Florida Man Arrested for Breaking Into Bar Owners Home

A man who originally hails from South Dakota was shot after he broke into the home of a bar owner.

William Mulroy, formerly of Beresford, was arrested after he was allegedly kicked out of a bar in the area of San Mateo, Florida, for harassing patrons. and then tried to break into the home of the owner later on in the evening.

After a fight broke out between Mulroy and two people inside the homeowners house, the homeowner grabbed a pistol and shot Mulroy once in the shoulder.

He was taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries and was then taken to jail and held without bond.
