Dee Snider’s New Video Captures the Standing Rock Reservation Events in the Dakotas
Dee Snider has put together another video for a song off his new album, We are the Ones.
Directed by his son Cody, it's for the album's final track, "So What," and the visuals were captured at the Standing Rock Indian reservation in North Dakota, showing the protestors of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Snider recently told the New York Post,
To see U.S. government state and local authorities, along with hired private security, use this type of extreme violent force against unarmed American citizens in peaceful prayer is the saddest, most disturbing thing I have ever experienced. I'm glad we were there to capture the truth for all to see."
According to Snider on his Youtube channel, the filmmakers were tear gassed, targeted and shot with rubber bullets in an unconstitutional suppression of free press.
