I am so excited to see Kelly Clarkson on February 16th in St. Paul that I decided to do my very own special 'Countdown to Kelly Clarkson'.

This countdown is entirely my opinion. It is just me picking my favorite song off of each of Kelly's studio albums.

This song may or may not have been a single, but it is a song that I think deserves more respect and recognition.

The most recent of Kelly Clarkson's albums is Meaning of Life. It was released in 2017 and I love it.

"Love So Soft" was the first single, which was followed by "I Don't Think About You" and "Heat."

When it came to picking a favorite song on this album, I hem and hawed for a moment between "Whole Lotta Woman" and "Slow Dance." I love "Whole Lotta Woman" because it is a female empowerment song and who doesn't love a female empowerment song?

But I had to pick "Slow Dance" because I just love the groove of this song. It's a song about taking it slow in a relationship. Again, Kelly just gets me! Let's get to know each other, let's take it slow, let's hold hands and slow dance!

Also, I love that a song about not getting it on is soooo sexy! I mean, listen to it, it makes you feel some kind of way. Amirite?

I would also like to add that if by some chance Kelly Clarkson is reading this, could you please cover "Dancing On My Own" by Robyn at your St. Paul show. Please and Thank You!
