Ava Max vs. Jay Sean

A week or so ago, a friend of mine messaged me and asked if I thought Ava Max's "Sweet But Psycho" sounded like another song. They couldn't quite put their finger on it.

I thought about it for awhile and it started to bother me, so I googled, and apparently there are some rumblings on the internet that Ava Max's song sounds like Jay Sean's "Down."

Hmmm......Ya know, now that you mention it, it kind of does.

"Down" came out in 2009 and features Lil Wayne. Whereas, "Sweet But Psycho" came out in 2018.

So far, there hasn't bee an official comment from either artist about the comparisons.

There are even a few remixes online mashing up the two songs.
