Are You Even in Nebraska, If You Don’t Get Runza?

Anytime I travel, even if it's just a weekend to visit my brother in Omaha, I like to try new restaurants and try the local favorites.

And in Nebraska, Runza is a favorite!

For those of you that don't know, Runza is a fast food restaurant that specializes in handheld meat pies called Runzas!

I'll be honest, I don't know the history of Runza, but they are pretty much only in Nebraska, so I had to get one! I got the original, just to keep things classy. My brother thought I was lame because I didn't even get cheese. Can I live?

My brother also knows that I love going out for breakfast/brunch. We got some suggestions on Facebook, but ultimately my brother brought me to The Farmhouse for some down home cooking!

The Farmhouse is a cafe and bakery and the bakery items were no joke! Cakes, pies, rolls, breads, cookies, muffins, bars! It all looked so good!

I definitely didn't leave hungry!
