American Idol fans may remember Caleb Johnson as the winner from season 13 of the talent competition show.

Back in 2014, Caleb was among the hopefuls that included Jena Irene, Alex Preston, Jessica Meuse, and Sam Woolf.

Caleb Johnson was crowned the winner and went on to release his debut album, Testify, and eventually left his record label. Since then, he's released music independently and toured with Trans Siberian Orchestra.

And now, Caleb Johnson will be gracing Levitt at The Falls with his music and awesome stage presence on Thursday, August 5th! As with every show at The Levitt, admission is absolutely free. The lawn opens at 6 p.m. and music starts at 6:30 p.m. with the opening act, Back Alley.

The Levitt at The Falls' official website describes the show, "On his new album, Born From Southern Ground, Caleb Johnson & The Ramblin’ Saints soulfully and bombastically take us to the church of rock ‘n’ roll. Johnson uses this album to showcase his Southern roots, and he channels a spirit that combines gospel, blues, and rock ‘n’ roll into a modern but classic and timeless sound. Born From Southern Ground delivers a heaping dose of gritty Southern rock swagger starting with the earth-shaking gothic gospel of 'Holding On' in which Johnson displays a fearlessness and unmatched vocal power."

Head out early and make a night of it with food truck options from Breaking Burrito, Krazy Concessions, and Neighborhood Grill. And as always, beverages from JJ's Wine and Cigars.

Levitt at The Falls states on their Facebook Event Page, "Open seating is available on the lawn-please bring blankets and lawn chairs. You also can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages (no outside alcohol permitted). Social distancing and masks are encouraged. Parking is free after 5pm and on the weekends downtown. See you at the Levitt!"
