5th Annual Downtown Riverfest is Saturday

We're getting down to the last days of outdoor summer concerts and one of the best is coming up.

On Saturday (August 19) it's the 5th Annual Downtown Riverfest on the Downtown River Greenway between 6th and 8th Streets from 4:00 PM-11:00 PM.

Billed as the biggest party on the Big Sioux with live entertainment, local food vendors, beverage tents, kids only events, kayak tours on the river, raffles and more.

Live stage entertainment includes:

• Mrs. Begley & the Boys at 4:30 PM
• The Fattenin' Frogs at 6:30 PM
• The 4onthefloor at 8:45 PM

Local children's performer Rockin' Red will perform at 5 and 6:15 PM in the Raven Industries parking lot.

The SD Canoe & Kayak Association will once again offer canoe rides on a first-come, first-served basis from 5-8 p.m. just south of the main stage amphitheater. The cost is $10 per rider.

And don't leave before the fireworks display.
