Over 100 individuals have been injured and killed in the most deadly mass shooting in American history.

According to reports, 50 have been killed and 53 have been injured after a night club shooting in Orlando, FL.

The Pulse nightclub was hit with a domestic terrorist attack as a gun men went inside around 2 AM on Sunday morning and began shooting at everyone inside.

Police Chief John Mina confirmed at a news conference Sunday morning that 50 people were killed and that was certainly sobering news as it was more than 20 people killed than originally thought.

Orlando Mayor, Buddy Dyer says 53 more are hospitalized after the early Sunday incident in his city.

Earlier, U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson said the shooter was identified as Omar Mateen of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He referenced law enforcement officials as the providers of the information.

According to CNN and second hand reports from local law enforcement, the shooter was pledging his allegiance to ISIL during the attack.

The gunman was killed as officers broke into the LGBT club in order to save those who were remaining.

Officials also have said they're investigating whether the incident was an act of terrorism, yet a cautionary note, that the information is fluid and still all information is trying to be confirmed through those officials themselves.

People from around the United States have reacted to this act of terror with condolences and prayers toward those involved.
