2 Arrested After Early Morning Police Chase in Sioux Falls

Around 1am Monday morning, Sioux Falls police noticed a dark suburban driving erratically near Falls Park and attempted to pull the vehicle over.

The driver sped up and headed east on Rice street before turning into a wooded area and fled the vehicle on foot. Police used a canine unit to track the suspects down.

Arrested on multiple charges were Richard Pounds, 28, of Sioux Falls and Alonna Weddell,21, of Sioux City.
