Back in the '80s, Nickelodeon had a TV show that introduced the world to green slime. That show was called, You Can't Do That on Television." The teen comedy show ran for 10 seasons and even help launch the career of Alanis Morissette. Now the show is getting resurrected.

According to A.V. Club, producer Jimmy Fox has teamed up with series creator Roger Price and his Penny Arcade Studios for the revived series, which will expand beyond the original sketch format to include “musical performances, celebrity cameos and interactive elements across multiple platforms."

Oh and there will be slime.

In July 2004, on what was the program's 25th anniversary, a reunion special aired starring five members of the original cast.

The new show has yet to find a network or a release date.
