The mother of two has been missing since the morning of March 31. Earlier this month, Winona Police Chief Tom Williams described her disappearance as suspicious and involuntary

The investigation into the 26-year-old woman’s disappearance remains active and ongoing and investigators are not prepared to identify as a suspect or person of interest, Williams said in a statement. He says targeted law enforcement searches are continuing daily by foot, through the air and underwater in areas based on information generated by the investigation and tips from the public. The search and rescue teams are using sonar, submersibles and dog teams.

The father of Madeline’s children, who is believed to be the last person to see Madeline before her disappearance, issued a statement through his lawyer last week in which he denied any involvement in Madeline’s disappearance and said he has cooperated with law enforcement at every turn.

Williams again requested land owners in Winona, Fillmore and Houston Counties to walk their land and check their outbuildings to see if anything may be out of place. He said the change in weather conditions may reveal something property owners may have missed if they’ve already searched the land.

Williams said investigators receive dozens of tips daily and is asking anyone with information they think could be valuable to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at crimestoppersmn.org.
