QSR Magazine did a recent study to find out which fast food chain Americans had the biggest sense of loyalty and devotion to. If there is one thing Americans know, it is fast food.

They based the criteria on what percentage of people would recommend the chain to friends and family, minus the people who would discourage other people from going there.

Seems simple enough, right.

The results might surprise you. The top 10 are as follows.

1. Panera Bread
2. Culver's
3. In-N-Out Burger
4. Chick-fil-A
5. Five Guys
6. Papa Murphy's Take N' Bake Pizza
7. Subway
8. Whataburger
9. Rubio's
10. Baja Fresh

You might be wondering how sit down restaurants fared. Well, the top three were:

1. Texas Roadhouse
2. Bonefish
3. Longhorn Steakhouse

However, Panera, ranked even higher than the sit down restaurants. And it is interesting to note that all the sit down restaurants are steakhouses.
