Known for their power pop songs, sharp looking suits and ties, and mop-top haircuts, The Click Five jumped onto the the pop music scene back in 2005 with their highest charting single "Just a Girl" which went to #11 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Formed in 2003 by lead guitarist Joe Guese, bassist Ethan Mentzer, keyboardist Ben Romans, drummer Joey Zehr, and lead singer Eric Dill the band played in various local venues in Boston, Massachusetts before getting discovered.

The band made their first recording, a two-song demo session, in early 2004 after successful local touring. They released their debut album Greetings from Imrie House in 2005. Their hit song, "Just The Girl" went up to number nine on MTV's program Total Request Live and became the number one most downloaded song on iTunes for over 2 weeks.

In February 2007, lead singer Eric Dill officially left the band and Kyle Patrick formally joined the band in early 2007.

With new lead singer Patrick on board the band recorded two more albums: 2007's Modern Minds and Pastimes and 2010’s TCV.

On January 14, 2013 the band announced on their Facebook page that they had officially parted ways. They stated that they were parting ways so that they may continue to focus on their individual endeavors after a long hiatus and thanked all their fans for supporting them throughout the years.
