I have some cool t-shirts that I want to wear again, so I need to get in shape. Oh yea, and for the future and health and to live at least a hundred more years. I'm on a quest to not be fat when I turn 40 next year. Read my intro post here and week one's post here.

Two weeks into my No Fat 40 Challenge I am, dare I say, starting to enjoy my workouts. I am doing a rotating set of high intensity excessive for a short amount of time. I'm averaging about 30 minuets a day, six out of the last seven days. I still get sore, but not as tired. I feel a change.

Food-wise, a little bit better. I've had more vegetables in the last two weeks then in the last six months. And you know what? It's good. I have my favorite foods, but beyond that I don't care about food really. Almost all my overeating is connected with anxiety, not with stimulating my pallet.

As for the anxiety, the direct connection between exercise and taming it continues to hold true. I still need the meds and all the mental tricks I've developed, but the exercise is becoming a big help.

Something I learned this week; music really does help. I had been watching TV shows while exercising. It would help take my mind off time, and focus away from boredom. But, I tried listening to music and it was a burst of extra inspiration while I did my stuff. Here's one of my favorite workout songs.

Smoking update: Harder then it should be. Taking it day by day.

Shirt Showcase: I can't wait to wear this shirt again (See it above). It's a shirt from the release of Ice Cube's The Predator album. It has Cube's face on the front and says "Ice Cube" on the back. I got this shirt at a record store in Sterling, CO. I wore it proudly around the UNK campus when I was a freshman in college. Halfway through my freshman year I lost it in the mess of my dorm and that sent off a state of panic. I found it and all was well, until I crapped out of my first try at college.
