We will see decreasing cloud cover in the southeast while we see the clouds increase in northern and central South Dakota today. Highs will range from the upper 40s in the east to the upper 50s out west.

Changes will start to take place tonight across the region. We’ll bring a chance of rain for most of us. Depending on how temperatures are, we could see that switch over to a little snow. Overnight lows should be in the upper 20s.

Most of us should see some rain before we see a few snowflakes coming our way Thursday morning. We’ll get a break from the precip Thursday, but the wind will pick up. Wind gusts between 35 and 45 mph will be possible for most with gusts up to 60 possible out to the west.

We’ll see another chance of snow across mainly eastern parts of the region Thursday night into Friday. Most of us could see between one and three inches of snow with potentially higher amounts along the Buffalo Ridge.
