I had no idea that there was a wedding chapel inside the Mall of America until earlier this week when I learned it was closing. More than 7,500 couples have said “I Do” inside the mega mall chapel since it first opened nearly three decades ago.

Unique Places To Get Married in Minnesota From Underground To On The Field

Stacy Boysen told us she was married on Lake Superior. The couple booked the Vista Queen, a massive boat used primarily for sight-seeing tours, and said their "I dos" out on the water.

Target Field offers several different wedding packings. Their "Homeplate Ceremony" package is $7,500 and allows you to get married right on Homeplate.
This package allows for seating for up to 400, a one-hour photo shoot around the ballpark, an A/V tech to run the sound system and display photos on the jumbotron, and dedicated staff to ensure that everything goes perfectly.

You should visit Niagara Cave, located just outside of Harmony, Minnesota, even if you don't want to hold your wedding there. It's a really cool cave that allows you to explore deep under the earth's surface.
Highlights include the massive underground waterfall and yes there is a wedding chapel down there. Hundreds of people have held their ceremony at Niagara Cave.
