There are a lot of weird sports out there: chess boxing, wife carrying, quidditch... and now, UNDERWATER HOCKEY! Straight from my home state of Wisconsin, the city of Milwaukee has launched the first underwater hockey club!

According to Onmilwaukee.comThe sport was created in the 1950's in England and although is not often televised, it actually is played around the world. Two teams of 10 – six players per side at a time – compete to maneuver a weighted puck with a one-handed stick across the bottom of a swimming pool and into the opponent's goal.

The best part about it is that anyone can play and you will get one heck of a workout! I think this would be awesome if the YMCA or Midco Aquatic Center picked up this sport! I would definitely sign up for a team.
