The View Has Changed Again at ABC’s ‘The View’
With the new season of 'The View' starting September 15, it is crunch time when it comes to finding the remaining hosts for the show. So far, Whoopi Goldberg is confirmed to come back and Rosie O'Donnell is re-joining the show. The seats held by Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy still need to be filled. Several names have been dropped the past few months, but this name takes us by surprise. Back in February, Rosie Perez co-hosted the show and it is now confirmed that she will join the show full-time.
Political commentator Nicole Wallace is also filling a seat. Wallace served as communications director for George W. Bush.
Perez has starred in several movies including, "White Men Can't Jump", "Untamed Heart" and "Fearless." She recently signed on to star in the Broadway play "Fish in the Dark" written by and starring Larry David.
Two 'Rosie's' on the show? This could be confusing.
