South Dakota Native On New Season of ‘The Bachelorette’

I must admit, I don't really watch "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette", but I might watch the new season!

It was announced that Clare Crawley would be the new Bachelorette and one of the men vying for her affections will be Dale Moss. If that name sounds familiar, it's because he grew up in Brandon and played basketball and football at South Dakota State.

He played football professionally for awhile as a member of the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers.

After football didn't quite work out, he was signed by Wilhelmina Models and is now a model, host, and philanthropist.

His bio on his website and for "The Bachelorette" says he's from New York, which is where he lives now, but we know better.

It makes me wonder if he were to make it to the hometown dates, would they go to New York or Brandon, SD?

I don't know Dale Moss personally, but I know a couple of people that went to high school with him and they all say he's the nicest guy and actually really down to Earth. And, let's be honest, he's not hard to look at.

Here's to hoping he gets that final rose.

According to ABC.com the new season of "The Bachelorette" is set to start on May 18th.
