I know that in the midwest, when it gets to be February and March we start getting antsy for warmer weather. We want to wear sandals and shorts and live the good life.

That's why when we get a few days above freezing, people start acting a fool.

I came home from running errands the other day to quite a scene.

Not only did some guy set up a hammock, but it's in the middle of the apartment complex parking lot.

I understand apartment living can be hard because you don't have a yard of your own, but this just struck me as funny.

The high was around 40 degrees so I get that it's warm for this time of year, but is that really hammock weather? I mean you can clearly see snow all around.

I had to stop and take a picture. It was just so funny to me.

The next morning the hammock was taken down, but I'm curious to see when and if it will pop back up again.
