Sioux Falls Police Investigating Overnight Shooting
UPDATE: A warrant has been issued for the shooter in this incident.
4:35 PM: Sioux Falls Police issued a warrant for the arrest for the suspect in the shooting that took place Thursday night. Christian David Ladin Villela, 20, from Sioux Falls is wanted for 10 counts of Aggravated Assault and Discharge of a Firearm at an Occupied Car.
Christian is 5' 7" weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. The warrant carries a $500,000 cash bond. Please contact police if you have any information about his location.
RECAP: Metro Communications received multiple calls of reported gunshots in the area of West 16th Street and South Williams Avenue at around 9:15 P.M. Thursday night.
As officers and detectives of the Sioux Falls Police Department responded to the area, some individuals were located in a parking lot at 2412 West 12th Street.
Along with the parties involved, there was a vehicle that had bullet holes in it.
Officers were able to locate shell casings believed to be involved near the intersection of West 16th Street and South Williams Avenue.
Multiple subjects were interviewed.
