It's probably safe to say you have visited at least one art museum.  It's a pretty typical setting; pictures on the wall, sculptors and statues on the museum floors, and featured pieces from special artists. Now there's even a traveling exhibit showcasing Vincent Van Gogh's paintings in ways that art enthusiasts have never seen before.

The Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit gives you the unique opportunity to put yourself into some of Van Gogh's most iconic paintings.  This is 360-degree digital art experience features amazing projections of Van Gogh's artwork. You can literally analyze every brushstroke, line, color, and detail in each animation. That's right. The paintings come to life, and they tell the story of one of the greatest artists in history.

Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit is popping up in cities across the country including  Chicago and Minneapolis opening Thursday, August 12. I recently took a tour around the Van Gogh Exhibit in Chicago, and it's absolutely stunning!

So until the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit debuts in Minneapolis, here's a little taste of what you might see if you're planning a visit to the show in the Twin Cities.

Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit

This animation was a beautiful transition to this classic painting.  The production of this whole exhibit was a masterpiece itself.

The video for this painting needs no introduction.  The way the video paints this piece is just incredible. It took my breath away, and the music behind it was the cherry on top.

This was the final projection during the show.  I think I stayed for another hour just watching all the paintings pass by.

Remember, the Minneapolis exhibit of Immersive Van Gogh will be opening on Thursday, August 12th.  This is truly an awesome artistic adventure! I highly recommend checking it out if you have the chance!
