Ideas for Sioux Falls’ Empty Royal Fork Building

August of this year marked five years since the beloved local buffet restaurant at the Empire Mall Sioux Falls, The Royal Fork, closed. The building where it made its home since 1993 still sits empty, as of September 2025.

The former Royal Fork building is located at 4610 W Empire Place in Sioux Falls, on the campus of The Empire Mall. It could be a great spot for a new business. It's right in the middle of probably the busiest part of Sioux Falls.
