See Michonne All Glammed Up [PHOTO]

The Walking Dead continues to be one my favorite TV shows. It has all the elements for a good story: zombies, dystopia, and bad ass characters like Michonne as played by Grinnell, Iowa native Danai Gurira.

The cast of the show was at Comic-Con in San Diego and we got to see a different side of the Michonne, or at least the actress that plays her.Actress and playwright Danai Gurira grew up in Iowa, her father taught chemistry and her mother is a university librarian. She went to college at Macalester College in St Paul, MN. Check out her look her without all the zombie apocalypse grime.
