We aren't talking about a Civil War statue, we are talking about a statue of Ray Lewis, the football player and it still is bringing controversy.

According to ESPN.com, there is a push to remove the statue outside the Ravens stadium after Lewis joined other Ravens players who were kneeling during the anthem last week.

A petition has been circulated on Change.org to remove the statue and according to that same report, as of this morning it had over 50,000 signatures.

Even though there is pressure from some, there is no way the Ravens will ever take down the statue because of this and instead they have hired more security to protect the statue of the best linebacker to ever play for the franchise.

On the field this week, the Ravens will host the Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
