People Spend $140 On Themselves on Black Friday

When I have gone Black Friday shopping in the last few years I don't buy anything for people I'm giving gifts to. I shop for myself. Apparently I'm not alone.

According to the National Retail Federation, Americans spent around $140 on themselves on Black Friday. And "self-gifting" was supposed to hit a ten year high last weekend.

Honestly, I'm surprised the number isn't higher. $140? That's not even a TV. But if you buy a camera and a couple of movies that sounds about right.
