Pentatonix Member Steps Away

After 6 years with the group, Avi Kaplan and the rest of the group from Pentatonix shared a Facebook video as he announced his departure from the a cappella group. According to PopCrush Kaplan says:

“It’s been extremely hard for me to not be able to see my family or friends when I need to or when they need to see me. It’s been hard for me to just escape to nature when I’m feeling overwhelmed or when I just need time for myself.”

Kaplan says he still plans on making music. He's releasing his debut album from his solo project, Avriel And The Sequoias, in June. Avi plans to appear in the last batch of shows for the act.

Will the group continue on as a foursome or will they be looking for a new memeber? Stay tuned.
