Oscar Madrigal Sentenced to 13 Years for Killing Tanya Sanchez in Drunk Driving Accident

Oscar Madrigal, 21, was sentenced to 13 years in prison for killing 38-year-old Tanya Sanchez in a drunk driving accident at Arrowhead Parkway and Sycamore Avenue in Sioux Falls on New Year’s Eve around 1:30 AM. Police say Sanchez was a passenger in a van that was hit by a Madrigal who ran the flashing red light at the intersection. Madrigal's blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
