Nebraska Slips in National Polls Following Wyoming Win

The good news?  Nebraska is still in college football's Top 25 after last Saturday's less-than-impressive 37-34 win over Wyoming in Lincoln.

The bad news? In the AP Top 25 this week, the Cornhuskers dropped further than any team that notched a victory in their season opener - from 18th to 22nd.

The college coaches poll was a little more forgiving, as the Huskers dropped just one spot - from 18th to 19th.

Nebraska looks for a better showing Saturday against Southern Miss at Memorial Stadium.
