My Evening with Katy Perry, Kesha, and Marilyn Manson

Pop Rocks was in town for Rock the Shrine. This was a fundraiser for the El Riad Shrine Chanters.

The place was packed. And just as with any sort of live music scene, the dance floor was left open for eventual partying, but as the band started most people stayed safely at their tables.

However, as Pop Rocks plowed through hit song after hit song, that crowd grew and grew.

They opened with Lady Gaga and ended their first set with Marilyn Manson with a little bit of everything in between.

While it was a great show, I will fully admit that my friend and I left at the intermission. Not because the show wasn't entertaining, we are just both old and were very tired. She has two kids and I'm not used to being up past 9pm.
