The threat of rain mixed with snow is forcing the 2022 Opening Day for the Minnesota Twins to be postponed to Friday, April 7.

It's not unusual that games this time of year in the northern states see changes in the schedule due to adverse weather conditions.

In a release from the Minnesota Twins, all of Thursday's originally planned events will now take place on Friday.
