Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office Responds to Fatal Car Fire

The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a single vehicle fire on East Rice Street to the east of Timberline Avenue early Tuesday morning.

Once on scene, it was discovered that a single occupant was inside the vehicle.

It appears the vehicle was traveling west bound and left the road way and struck a steel electrical structure. The accident is still under investigation.

The name of the victim will not be released until notification of family.
