Whoever came up with this idea must have been high at the time.  Someone in the public relations department at Malaysia Airlines thought it would be a good idea for the airline to stage a "bucket list contest."

Yes - Malaysia Airlines, the same airline that's been at the center of the two most recent air tragedies.

For any other air carrier, having a bucket list contest might be looked at as a harmless gimmick.  But for Malaysia Airlines, it was yet another reminder that the company still has a long ways to go to boost customer confidence.

How the contest worked is the airline asked its passengers, "What or where would you like to tick-off on your bucket list?"

Given the company's recent problems, the idea didn't set real well with the higher-ups at the airline.  The short-lived contest has now been scrapped - and, I'm betting, someone is looking for a new P-R job.
