Kesha is Back After Four Year Legal Battle

She was not allowed to release any new music during this time due to her previous contract with Dr. Luke.

According to Billboard.com

It was unclear at press time what legal barriers had been moved allowing the singer to issue new music and prep her third full-length album.

Whatever happened for this to be possible, I'm just glad to hear from Kesha.

Her new song is called "Praying" and it is definitely a more sincere and serious side of Kesha. It seems very reflective of the struggles she has had.

Kesha had this to say about the new song on the Lenny blog:

"I've found what I had thought was an unobtainable place of peace. This song is about coming to feel empathy for someone else even if they hurt you or scare you. It's a song about learning to be proud of the person you are even during low moments when you feel alone. It's also about hoping everyone, even someone who hurt you, can heal."

Other big news out today, she will have a new alum available August 11 entitled, Rainbow.
