Have you ever noticed how busy the Chick-fil-A drive-through always is? Regardless of the time of day I pass by, there's consistently a long line of cars. Kudos to the fast-food chain for figuring out a way to efficiently get people through the line though – wait times are kept to a minimum despite the considerable demand.

The Atlanta-based chicken chain has 27 locations in Minnesota. If you've been lately you will want to read the statement they just published. Chick-fil-A is recalling one of its most popular items because of contamination concerns.

With less than 30 locations in the state, Chick-fil-A is one of the smaller chains in Minnesota. See the giants in the state, including the top chain with over 450 locations, on the list below. Nevertheless, Chick-fil-A's popularity stands strong, thanks to its iconic chicken sandwiches, nuggets, breakfast offerings, and a tempting variety of sauces.

Chick-fil-A's signature sauces including the original Chick-fil-A® Sauce, Polynesian Sauce, Barbecue Sauce, and Sweet & Spicy Sriracha Sauce, have gained so much love that you can find them not just in Chick-fil-A restaurants but also on the shelves of major retail stores like Walmart and Target.

The company announced it is recalling one of those sauces, but it's important to clarify that it only involves sauce packets sold at Chick-fil-A restaurants.

A bright red banner on Chick-fil-A's website strongly advises customers to dispose of the sauce. I clicked through to see the complete statement which provided all the details about the recall:

"Please discard any Polynesian Sauce dipping cups that you may have taken home between February 14-27, 2024. The Polynesian Sauce dipping cups may contain a different sauce that includes wheat and soy allergens. If you have any questions, please call Chick-fil-A CARES at 1 (866)-232-2040."
