UPDATE- Victoria has been located and is safe.

Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 12-year-old Minneapolis girl has been missing since Saturday evening.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension today issued a statewide Endangered Missing Person Alert for Victoria Jackson. Minneapolis police are requesting public assistance in locating the child, who was last seen around 8 p.m. Saturday walking from Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.

The alert indicates Victoria is a Type 1 diabetic and uses an automatic insulin pump, which is likely now in need of a refill. The insulin pump is black in color, clipped to her waist, and connected to a patch on her upper arm.

The missing girl is described as Black, 5'1", 140 pounds, with black hair. She was last seen wearing a tan "Rugrats" T-shirt, blue jeans, and red and black shoes.

“Efforts have been ongoing in the search for Victoria since she went missing, and we believe she is at risk of experiencing a medical emergency,” said Chief Brian O’Hara. “Anyone who has any information that may help us locate Victoria, no matter how small it seems, needs to immediately call 911 so we can locate her. Her family is experiencing the unimaginable pain of not knowing where she is, and we are working diligently toward locating her.”

Anyone who may have seen Victoria or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Hennepin County Dispatch Center at 952-258-5321 or call 911.
