'Pork Belly Jerky' Makes It's Debut At Minnesota Butcher Shop

Apparently, if you want my attention on the internet these days all you have to do is post a picture of something delicious. I saw that a new type of jerky is making its Minnesota debut, it's called pork belly jerky, aka bacon jerky, and it seems to have some people really excited. Kenyon Meats in Kenyon, Minnesota is where you'll be able to find these seemingly delicious goods.

Kenyon Meats, also known for its humorous sayings on its sign out front, is turning out a new style of jerky that I've never seen before. It's a pork belly jerky, but it looks like bacon.

Right now Kenyon Meats just has one flavor of the new jerky, but it sounded like a milder flavor would be available over the weekend at the store.

I hadn't ever heard of bacon jerky before, but a Google search turned up a few bags for sale and some recipes.

The website Two Guys and a Cooler has a recipe for actual bacon jerky, like store-bought bacon, if you want to try this for yourself.
