It's become one of the biggest realities of our world: social media brings out both the best and the worst in humanity.

Over the years, we've seen countless examples of people coming together online to support worthy causes and uplift others with encouragement and empathy. But almost as often, we see people using these same platforms to spread misinformation and hatred.

Recently, a Sioux Falls restaurant found itself fighting back publicly after a racist comment showed up on their Facebook page.

La Plaza Fiesta, on West 85th Street, had posted a photo of some of their staff promoting the restaurant's gift cards. That photo prompted someone to comment, 'Every one holding up their green cards'.

Needless to say, that did not sit well with the folks at La Plaza Fiesta, and they decided to fight back and expose this offensive post.
