Highway Patrol Confirms Bear Roaming in South Dakota
It seems that even bears want to move to South Dakota. It's a nice state after all and bears were once all over the Black Hills. Although it's rare, a bear has been sighted in Marshall County.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol (SDHP) has confirmed a bear sighting on June 1 near Britton, SD. According to KCAU 9 News, the Game, Fish, and Parks Dept. are monitoring its whereabouts.
Since the SDHP posted the bear sighting on Facebook, the majority of the comments were to leave the bear alone. Feel free to add a comment below.
Britton is in the Northeast corner of South Dakota near Sisseton.
