According to the travel & lifestyle website Livability, the spookiest place in South Dakota is the Alex Johnson Hotel in Rapid City. A place that is so haunted it has a "ghost journal" for guests to record their "haunting" experiences.

People have reported spooky activity on all floors of the hotel, but ghost hunters in the know usually choose the 8th floor for a hauntingly good time. In fact, the hotel is currently offering what they refer to as the "Room 812 Halloween Party" and a Ghost Adventure Package for the really brave.
